Simple Profile 117 Stealth Fighter...

Been looking at the SF long enough.... we need to draw up a really SIMPLE SF in profile ... perhaps a prop in the slot jet ,or not...Gotta' look good ... just another Delta , so we know it will fly ... why it even has Fins . so no questions there... Had no luck finding a 3 view.. so we may have to "wing" it...
Probably gonna' be FAST and Responsive , so the new guys might want to just ignore this ...
Any suggestions before we get started drawing??? WILL be a Profile Fuse (easy).. no facets, as few pieces as possible ......common BW motor.. All opinions will be greatly appreciated ...

build something that uses a bm2410-12 motor and a 9050 prop.

gpw, looks like it has a lot of side area ahead of the cg, I know there have been problems with that in the past on fuse profiles. Probably have to make some cut outs there. Prop in slot will be NOISY , not very stealthy, pusher would be quiter.

inline300, after it's done and test flown, you can resize it for your power system.

Looks very Stealth Sport.... may be just a change of wing shape needed.

How about do a modified full fuselage, but merely making a simple diamond shape fuse? Look at the style of fuse I use for the Baby Blackbird. This one can be "faceted" easily, and still look like the F-117, and still be simple enough. Schmaybe?

Here's a couple of pics I took of the Stelta a while back. EDF and prop in the slot. Even GPW's rendition of the Stelta Tractor version . Might help in coming up with some idea's. As Dekan said, maybe change the wing shape.

Tupp, Thanks for the 3 view... That's what we were looking for ...
Thinking enlarging the fins slightly should counter the side area thing... Worked on the SkyRay so ...
Stelta was close and flew well, so we can go on from there...
Thanks Guys !!!! I'll try to implement these suggestions...

GPW-

Have you built the RCpower.com F-117? That one is extremely simple. 6 different pieces total if remember. I could get one of those built in about 2 hours. Needs some extra support if you wanna go ballistic (80+ mph).

I had one that I put a 2836 HET inrunner and a 50 amp SuperSimple on a 4.75x4.75. I swear it broke 100mph. Then I crashed it into the ground and the battery went about 100 ft after impact.

That design flies pretty good if you get the CG right. The few I built, I had the CG to nose heavy at first.

The hardest thing about this one is the hand launch.

BB, That's a Nice looking plane , but a bit complicated for our simple tastes.... Just a profile will do it for me ... and an wing and fins , of course...
Working on the drawing so graciously provided by Tupper... results soon !!!
