Ok, I agree, it is weird, it is a pusher but the engine is up front. How can you tell which is forward. It is going to take a while to get use to the shape. Good candiate for e-power, but I would put the prop at the L.E.

Roy L. Clough had a similar design 40 years ago with a Jetex 50 that flew rather well.. for what it was.
Similar "slot" behind the wing center.
This one looks a bit area shy though.
It would be an interesting thing to try, with the caveat that seeing the front end will be difficult once it gets any distance away..
