Caption says KK Falcon Laser Diesel 24.

The cowl and nose section look to be very cleanly built. The Laser Diesel head section looks to have an extra 2 layers on top which all add up to an interesting four stroke [FS] diesel.

It would be interesting if the FS Diesel has even more torque compared to, say a two stroke of the same displacement.

Anyone got any guesses or facts for prop sizes and displacement for comparing two stroke versus four stroke diesels?

First time i have ever seen a compression adjustment off centre in the head.

Airservices, a nice little Enya Ultra 11cx. What size prop(s) and rpms does it provide? How current is it?

Ryan, thanks for posting. If I counted correctly, Ralph Drendel shows off a 12 cylinder, V twin, running engine. What a work of art, with a very neat sound on the acceleration!

The Thunder Tiger F75 S diesel looks so good running, I could almost smell the ether in the exhaust!

The smaller 1cc FS diesel looks to have a prop that is turning in a less than a true arc, but turn it does.

I too have an Enya 11. It has quite a bark even with the muffler.

Don't like the short shaft though. Someone said it was originally a car motor.

Flewn single channel, the Viking is a typical "unthrottled 2.5 cc diesel" model.
The plan shows engine plates for a number of great old engines:
Engel Rebell 2.5 cc diesel
Allbon Rapier 2.5 cc diesel
Super Tigre G30 2,5 cc diesel (and glow)
Webra Mach I 2,5 cc diesel
David Andersen Drabant 2.5 cc diesel

As you say, there are many choices - this was a popular size of diesels back then.
We must not forget the AM 25 (and 35), Alag X3 etc....yes there were many...

Here are a few nice diesels, just right for the Viking:

Frog 2.49 BB, early & late versions.
When the red anodised model was introduced, it was advertised as the "modified" version....was this "mod" just the anodising (?), I wonder...

The Norwegian David Andersen "Drabant" 2.5cc is a sturdy twin BB diesel, designwise clearly following the "Oliver path". These were well-made pieces of engineering.

Hi I bought it new from enya in japan 3 weeks ago I use a 9x5 prop on it I havn't put the thaco on it yet

I didn’t know Enya was still making diesels. They show 5 engines, including a four stroke.

Interestingly, one of the engines is set up for biodiesel (oil from plants, soy beans, cooking oils, etc) fuel testing. Sounds like they are right in step with the testing of non petroleum based fuels (which are not renewable and will eventually run out).

Model engines are being used for real world applications, not just for hobby interests.

Seems like the North American market is some what “sheltered”. The inter net and people around the world help even out all this information.

Not entirely new to me, but I wasn't aware that their range of diesels is so large...they don't advertise too much, and I beleive there's no existing Enya dealership over here at the moment.
They seem to take diesels seriously, as it looks...

Here is the old Enya 06D (1 cc reed valve diesel) of around 1960.

Interesting Jack, I didn't know about the F/I RC-version. The reed valve version was the only model sold over here to my knowledge. It also had a starter spring (which is missing on my example).
The F/I version looks nice...I like that flange mounted carb...
