Testing running my MP-Jet Letmo 2.5cc replica engine. A oil drop got on the lense so it is a little fuzzy in the middle.
I used a 12x6 Master Airscrew prop and Davis Diesel fuel with some extra castor oil added to it.

There's a Mp jet 040 on sale at the classified sections and not a single offer or reply to the for sale ad. I was tempted but bought a 46 glow for everyday use

Yeah I saw that myself. But I already have two MP-Jet PB .040 engines. so I don't think i need a third one so far. But it makes for a great Mills .075 engine replacement. They are easy to start and run really nice. anyone who gets it will love it.

$79 seems to be the retail price for them. Now then you might do better elsewhere though. ICARE had them on sale for $69.00 (http://www.icare-rc.com/diesel.htm)
but I don't know for how long though. But other than that it is a reasonable price for it.

Gluehand, nice U/C pictures.
Nice to see the Flite Streaks, Noblers and part of a Shark .45.

Chad and myself had planed to have a U/C ready for this summer, but we ran out of time. Maybe next year.

Earl, nice to see the little diesels running. Are you going to fly any of them?

Mchandrayan, if you are going to pay the current going price, you might want to consider buying a “new” un run, not tampered with, diesel. Those not familiar with these little engines sometimes use electric starters and over compression. You end up with their “learning” experience, which may be ok if you just want a display diesel.

John,
You are right, not knowing the exact condition is always a gamble. I did make the seller an offer. It did not work out.
