GOOD NEWS the programmer works great the esc responed corrently and my brushless converters came in the mail

Mmmmm heli crack

The only prob i seem to be having is with my heli at this point

for some reason it wants well seems to be extremely touchy and wasn't to go every which way but the way i want it to, the cyclic seems to take a bit to respond and it really wants to go forward and to the left, It likes to pick up speed when it's doing this to, goo thing for carbon blades but to be honest I don't know whats causing it i tried a different canopy, and am about to try my second battery, the swash plate is level so I'm not sure any ideas?

I was using a metal swash plate I got for 5 dollars on ebay from china...... no joke literally it was working fine until now, if thats what it is.

Make sure your CG is correct. You could have the battery too far forward.

Well my battery is moved forward to compensate for the tail boom and has not been a problem in the past it seems my hovering is the problem. Were when it used to hover made nice small circles now wants to make huge circles and eventually when making a circle it wants to pick a direction and keep going in it, also when i turn with my throttle stick it make the heli drift in that direction like i moved the cyclic for some reason, possible gyro malfunction? I'm asking because it loves to swing back and fourth

If a video would help I CAN get one but It would take a few min.

When you say "swing back and forth", do you mean the tail swings or the whole heli?

Maybe post your components and we'll see if we can figure this out.

Glad you started this I have wanted SkyTek parts for a long time.I think the quality is the best,I will keep checking your store for the parts I have been waiting forever for Frame,upper and lower heads etc.I also have wanted the carbon blades that I have seen and never been able to order.Good luck

the whole heli

it does this little thing were it moves looses alt while moving so i have to up the throttle then it goes back up i pul it back to make it stop moving and then have the exact same problem in a different direction


I have the following upgrades/parts,

x2 Skytec Blade Grups
x1 Skytec upper bearing
x1 Skytec lower rotor head
x4 Reinforced carbon blades
and a tail boom/canopy mod

along with a cheapo metal swash plate but it works good...... i think

Everything else is stock once i get my motors in the mail, i'll be brushless and away

ok got the vid just be aware not to have your vol up to high because my mic in my cam killed the audio. You can clearly see it descending and building speed

Good Morning everyone. Yea, that is where I have been lately. I still have been reading this and a couple of other threads to keep caught up and in the loop. Flash, that could be ground effect, rotorwash, or controll rods. How do the blades track? Bench test it and look for anything out of the ordinary. Wobble, things like these. Let me know. Just did a ground test no wobbling on the blades or anything everything seemed stable on the ground, possible control rod? i have spares
