Well I don't know that I'm allowed to post here but I've been loving some of Leann Rimes Can't fight the moonlight and Carrie Underwood's music lately.

Sure great female vocalists.
Some of Lucinda Williams music is certainly on my playlist as well.

I sure wish TT would post himself and perhaps his mate dancing.. I bet he's a great dancer and would inspire a lot of us to just dance.
Freaking unreal if he could do it.

I just bought a CD of Joe Jackson's "I'm the Man" Love the entire album, I think I have bought it three times now, vinyl, cassette tape, CD. Lots of good dance tunes on this one.

It reminded me I also had the album "Loisa", which was recorded in a church in NYC. He plays a lot of piano on it. Also very good and totally different from I'm the Man. This guy has talent.

Always loved the Kinks leccy. I remember when that song came out. I liked it and my girlfriend didn't, she was into all these remakes like "Dancing in the Streets" by Van Halen, if I hadn't told her that was Martha and the Vandellas, she would have gone on thinking it was a Van Halen song. Same with Burning down the House by the Talking heads. Kids. She was six years younger and about two generations removed from me. She sure looked cute dancing though. She was about 4'11". Blonde with blue eyes. Hard to think of her being 48 years old now. I ran into one of her friends a couple months ago and hear she is living in Maryland. Funny thing is although we weren't very compatible, I sure liked hanging around, practically lived with her for two years, then she broke my heart. Little .

Always liked Lola and Apeman, have that album somewhere. Lola vs. the Powerman

Low Budget, great song.

I have a boxed set of Black sabbath albums sitting in the car that I am working through at the moment. Masters of reality is on the player at the moment.
I have also been reliving my Punk youth, by listening to an album recorded back in 77/78 by a band called "The Users".

A school mate played drums with them and they released two singles back then but never released the album.
One of their singles was in John Peels special box, TWICE. For those of you who have never heard of john Peel, he was a British DJ who pushed new bands and is responsible for many great bands getting their first national exposure. His special box held copies of his favorite singles, only about a hundred, but "Sick of you" was in twice.
Oh and every time I see Elisa walking towards me I hear "The Model" by Kraftwork.

I'm listening to trees rustling in the breeze, the birds singing, and the squirrels chattering outside my window at the moment.

Better than anything you can find on CD.

It was chili night yesterday. I've been listening to the protests of my upper and lower instestines since about 1:00am.

Oh dear. I feel your pain.

As I age I find that while my appetite for spicy food is undiminished, and my mouth is still lined with asbestos, my insides really don't like it any more.

Listening to this - good Sunday morning fare - especially when it's a Monday.
