Hey Kevin.... I just read the rest of this thread. Just for information about buying an AMD Hawk from RC Mart....I had a big problem with that company. Had to file a claim against them for not sending the product....nor did they ever even respond to numerous phone/emails etc. Finally got a charge back from PayPal against them after two months! I went with the Fox-Composite Hawk and very happy with the quality.

Just thought I would share this information.....

RC Mart

Von,
I had the same problem with those guys. I ordered the kit and they took my money then after several days and no reply about shipping I called them, they answered and after speaking with them they told me that they could not ship to the US because it cost too much. This was after I paid the $115 for the shipping. I asked if they could get me a quote for the shipping to the US. I never got a call back. So I called them again, this time I said I want a full refund, the said OK and within two days I had my money back. I also want to mention that none of my 10 + emails were ever returned from them.

Steer clear of this company!

You might try www.generalhobby.com they have a clone that looks nice and they are in the US, so shipping should not be a problem. The kit is $249 I think, not bad for a clone. I think they are out of stock now but I emailed them and they told me in a few weeks they would have a new shipment.

Chris

Both Dynamax from Tom Cook, just differently engineered conversions (Motors). XPS only do the one motor, Fred does different versions of which the Scorpion 630 is the most popular and thats whats in this Hawk.
