Fastest 1/10 scale electric motor

What is the fastest electric motor and esc out on the market? My main concern is going in a straight line. I just need to be faster than my buddies. I will worry about controlling it later. Money is no object, but I only want serious replies please. Thanks

CC have a 5700kv motor, BUT motor is just a portion of the equation. YOU need powerfull battery and the right gearing.

If you want to be faster then you're buddy, ask him what motor hes got.

If he is running BRUSHED motor then a brushless system with LIPO will smoke him.

PS: some rc car or truck are just not ment to go really fast. The design of the car as limiting factors, aero dynamics play a big part. MY rc truggy even with wheelie bar will flip over cause of the wind lifting the front because the way the chassis plate is angle in the front.

Then get anything from 3500kv motor (Velineon) and up to 5700kv (mamba max) running on 3S lipo or 7 or 8 cell NIxx pack with the right gearing will leave you're buddy in the dust.

Once you go brushless & lipo you will never look back

I currently have a Trinity Green Machine motor with a 5000mah 20c lipo battery. What about the 7700 or 9000kv cc? Would they not be faster?

The 7700 and 9000kv do spin faster per volt, but will over heat on 3cell lipo. 5700kv mamba or 3500kv velineion on 3 cell lipo will be your best bet. You will also get close to double the runtime on a 3cell 5000mah on 5700kv over a 2 cell 9000kv setup.

also keep in mind that the 3cell 5700kv is good for doing a few speed runs, but you will need to stop and let the motor cool. The 4600kv motor is still very fast and better if you plan on bashing for a while.

How do these motor compare to the T rating I see on other motors? Is there anything better than Castle? Like I said you are only talking about grudge match running. I know I will need something different when we go to the track. Remember I don't mind spending the money for the best. It would be worth it to outrun him.

If I had a no budget car to build I would get a Mamba Monster V3, I think they handle up to 6S lipos maybe 8S. use the castle link software and configure it so you are always just a bit faster than him. he will keep spending more money and all you need to do is change the configuration on yours. you run a 6S lipo on a 5700KV motor in a 1/10th scale car.... your going to need wings to control it after a jump. how ever that motor will burn up pretty quick on 6S. remember the motor turns 5700 rpm per volt that you push through it.
that was a 5700 on 3S in my video and that isn't even top speed maybe 50mph MAYBE but top end on that car should be around 70mph. building an 1/8th scale with a 2600KV motor and that one should do close to 50mph when i finish it.
sorry for the long reply

The thing about high RPM motor, some people fail to read that they are only good for up to 2S or something like that.

Get MAMBA 5700 and you wont be dissapointed.

6s mean 6 cells. 3 cell lipo is as high as you should go on the 5700kv motor. This will get you to about 60mph with the right gearing.

The Mamba monster system is designed for cars much larger than 10th scale and not practical for a little T3.
