Vertigo Foremost 150

Shows using a 127mm EDF. Any builds on the Foremost with a EDF installed?
Thanks

Apart from being a boomerang ripoff, these things were exposed as being under stressed for Turbine use due to the construction.

Hope they got better?

Exactly what I was wondering Steve. There is a long thread on the Foremost over on RCU, and you mention, it sounds like it needed a good bit of beefing up for turbine use.

If they got the problems straightened out, the price is hard to beat.

The inlets still look too small for EDF.

Formost 150 EDF conversion

Here is a link to my converting one to EDF. Flying it now with a Hacker A50-12L ET that has been modified to fit the Haoye 5" fan. Did as a low cost conversion. Less $500.00 tried up in it( not counting batteries). It is a pleasure to fly.

Well, we had a number of spectacular failures in the UK. But if people a prepared to thouroghly inspect it with the covering off as reccomended in the RCJI editorial review, its likely to fly pretty well as Boomerangs do that.

Bobs formost looks like a flying pickup truck with removal of the rear upper fuse. LOL!!!! It flies great!!! Hell of a lot of plane for the money.

Oh and its the nicest flying pickup truck I ever saw!
Just kidding Bob!!!!

It was a down and dirty project. It has provided a large fun EDF for me to fly. Working on their Venture jet now.

Really does fly great!
I didn't get much of a chance to check it out yet, but if the Venture is any more optimized for EDF, it will fly better... and I'll probably have to treat myself to "an early Christmas" present this year...

And thanks for the kudos!
