CG needed of Nitroplane.com's F4U Corsair

I just got this plane. It's very well built and sturdy, but the instructions do not include where the CG is. Many of the ARF planes nitroplanes.com are selling were RTF planes and just had the electronics and transmitter removed when sold, so the manual is very sparse. Thanks.

Can you please explain further? Are you saying measure the wing width and then measure from the front towards the back at the wing/fuse connection by 25%?

yes, you've got the idea. Physically, the balancing is most easily checked with the plane upside down.

Have you done a check like this before?

Doing it in the Lateral Axis

Yes. That will make the plane a tad nose heavy which is what you want to start with. Planes that are nose heavy are much more stable in the pitch axis and are less sensitive to wind.
