I've only ordered from them a few times but they have beat the stateside merchants in delivery time each time.

Best time from order to door step: 4 days
From China to Aurora, Colorado, US

Tower Hobbies generally takes 8-10 business days and they're in IL.

Fastest I experience was 1.5 days from order to delivery. EMS express to Singapore.

Ordered 16.3.09 5.30pm (same time zone as HK, after closing time), shipped 17.3.09, received 18.03.09.

I guess I was just lucky and caught the plane and HK's and SG's postal service was fast. I have received all of my 3 EMS shipments from HK within 3 days after shipping.

I tried the cheap freight once and paid for it. Delivery time was 31 days. EMS takes me from 5-11 days. Don't order if it is out of stock and always use EMS!

It's too bad that hobbycity's website doesn't have a table with prices and approximate shipping times linked right at the top of the webpage to answer all your questions...

Something like this one that's right at the top of their website: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...stageTable.asp

Argh. Day 14 and still no delivery.

As stated above, do not do the cheaper shipping. International (Registered) Air Mail hasn't gotten my stuff here and it's day 14. Sigh.

The last time I went with the cheap shipping and it took exactly 14 days. still not too bad since I wasn't in a hurry.

Once I ordered Friday evening, EMS delivered Tuesday lunch time to South Africa! That's 1.5 work days or 3.5 full days! Was very impressed.
