Woohoo 5 days until lower Prices ARX 540!

5 days counting down now according to AR modelling site!
Its 299 euros for base version (in either off road or motard) with mechanical gyro! Its 100 euros for electric gyro, and thats at this moment in time $400.5 or 264 and i believe this includes
tax that is only payed if you are in european union so be less if your in the USA!

Im now unsure whether to get it in motard or off road version and whether to get electric gyro or not as it says it works with the esc so not sure if a special one is neeeded!

Exciting though! woohoo!

Thanks

Lee

Im sure there are threads on it from when it first came out on the first ARX a while back, its basically a fly wheel driven by planetry gears that spins fly wheel and when you ease off power the fly wheel keeps spinning to keep bike up right, I think thats how it works lol!

Where as i think electric one will spin more at low speed as it has a brushless motor keep momentum going so bike will be more stable at slow speeds!

Thanks

Hi Lee,
Have gone for the very basic version of the electric Motard.

What motor and esc is recommended?
And, does it need brushless, or will a brushed 540 be enough?

Fancy a Honda CR450 motard replica... if possible.

Cheers,
Drew

EDIT:
KLX250 ..... cool

You can use a brushed but don't go higher than a 11T single.

For more fun go for a B/L!

Hello Jena, When I order the basic MX version, and then ADD the electric gyro, will I get the mechanical gyro in the kit too?
Thanks, Dave
