sorry but you should lock this thread
Why on earth should this thread be locked? It was created some time ago and was waiting for the sukhoi to arrive but it never did up until now. And besides the point, read the title this thread WILL be dedicated to the MODDING of the Sukhoi, not just the chit chat type of thread your threads were created for. Usually theres two threads when a model is released... A discussion thread and a Modding thread.

Please stop asking people to close their threads, it's getting tiresome allready...

I agree...

So I'm going to order a brushless system for the sukhoi.

Can anyone give me suggestions on a better setup than this:
4.6 gram outrunner
1 gram 3amp Brushless esc

As I stated in the other thread, there are reviews on this setup that says it will make a 35 gram model hover on a 100 mah single cell lipo

I really wouldn't order another setup when the first hasn't been released. What if it doesn't fit? Under powered? Over weight? Just things to consider.

Yeahm not locking this.. Its a mod thread. I like them to be separate, so I dont have to go diging through a huge thread for just mods....

well, the x port is for other things, its true though that you do not need a PWM to PPM converter http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=28

Better 3D performance and crash resistance

Hi,

I pimped my Sukhoi with carbon bars for better 3D performance an crash resistance.

It's just awesome what this birdy can do now with the stock motor and a GWS 5043 propeller.

Please take a look at the pictures on how to tune your Sukhoi at www.x-ray-heli.com

I wonder if an eflite park 180 will do with the sukhoi. Hmmm maybe without any mods besides soldering?
