EDF Tailcone Templates
This thread is where I am going to post the PDF files of the various tailcone templates I have created. This way you do not have to search the build threads for them.
Don If you want to buy a roll of film for a lot of tubes you can here: http://www.shopatron.com/products/ca....20231.0.0.0.0 I use the .005" but you may want to consider the .0075" as it is a little stiffer. More links: http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr....0.0.0.0?pp=8& http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr....0.0.0.0?pp=8& or you can by sheets http://www.shopatron.com/products/ca...20231.0.0.0.0? |

For the alfa fan unit you want a 1.8" exit diameter. I can make a template but need to know the length needed.

Hi again Don.
Just received a new Alfa MiG15 and have decided to run a reduced diameter thrust tube. Could you be so kind? The factory depron tube is 62mm ID at the fan end and 230mm long. Maybe a spacer ring would be good too. The ID of the fuse at the exit is 63mm, and this point is 20mm from the end of the thrust tube. Cheers. |
