HI, I bought,built, and flew my Zagi last summer in New Jersey. Over there, it hauled! It would do aerobatics at half throttle. So the summer ended and i came back to Utah(where I live). A couple of days ago, I took it out and tried to fly it. IT WOULD BARELY CLIMB AT FULL THROTTLE!!!! I talked to my local hobby shop and they said that the air density here in Utah is MUCH MUCH less that in New Jersey(Sea Level). So here I am 4200 feet above sea level and I have a Zagi that Flys like crap. The hobby shop also told me to get a propeller with more pitch. So I am here to ask: WHAT PROPELLER SHOULD I GET FOR MY ZAGI (STOCK 400X) AND WHERE CAN I GET IT? Also, will it work with the 20-AMP ESC?

PS. How do I get the Gunther prop off the motor?

pulls right off the motor. It might take some force but it should come off.
I was just in Moab last week and used an APC 5.5X4.5 prop which worked really well. I'm sure a 5X5 will work equally well. I live at around 2500 feet which seems to be the point where the Gunther prop becomes ineffective. The 20 amp ESC should be fine. Make sure that the prop is facing the right way if you go with APC (letters facing the motor).

flipnidaho, Do you have a stock 400X too? Also, do you recoomend i spend $80 on this current plane when I can get a new one for $130?

The only modifications I made were to ditch the Zagi ESC and I also replaced the stock 400 with a QRP400 (reverse timed but otherwise stock 400 motor).... Oh yeah, I replaced the prop as well... I had problems with the stock Gunther prop staying on. I think the stock 400 is just fine for the kind of flying that I do. Of course I have a Mega just sticking around that I may stick in it whenever I burn out the stock 400...
