Jack Stafford Models Aircoupe/Ercoupe Kit - NIB

Jack Stafford Models Aircoupe/Ercoupe Kit - NIB
I have a few of these great kits. These are rare, out of production kits. I can tell you this plane builds easy and flies great. Whether you are looking for a good Sunday flyer or a scale competition plane, this one can meet your needs. I guarantee each kit to be complete. Everything is included in the kit, all wood ribs and formers, large vacuum formed clear canopy, injection molded cowl, basic hardware, plans and instructions. 63" wingspan for .40 - .70 2 or 4 stroke. (I fly mine on a .65 4c and it is plenty of power) $225.00 + actual shipping.

Does not look like much wood in the box, is this a short kit?

This is a full kit. All the ribs, formers, sheeting, its all there. Perhaps a better or another picture would help. Let me know if you would like more pictures posted. In taking a close look at the picture, i can understand why you would think that. The sheeting, stick material, etc. is stacked on the side opposite of the plans.

Thanks Steve. Usually a wood kit is so full of wood that once you open it, you can not close it back up! I guess they use a bigger box. Does this has a plastic or fiberglass cowling?

It is a plastic cowling. However, it is a heavy duty injection molded cowl, not a thin vacuum formed one.

Steve, how do you think this kit would be changed to electric with perhaps a Power 46 or Power 60.

No problem at all, you would need some stand off's from the firewall, that should be all you would have to add.

I'm restoring one I bought at a swap meet. I'm curious, where did you get your scale landing gear?
