need help on plane choices to carry about 5lb payload
Looking to get a plane to carry roughly 5lb MAX payload. and need some choices. i was going to go w/ a senior telemaster, but thinking its not the best choice. few questions
1: what is the biggest wing loading number u can go up to, like 20 per inch max or so.
2. what planes are my opions
looking for a plane that can take off easily w/ a short distance and MUST be able to glide to land and at least 1-2 mins staying somewhat level. i like the telemaster planes b/c the can float from what i here, and thats what i need
it will be AP/AV. im not rly a beginner and have a good radio/charger and all that stuff

Why's that? I have one that I use a gas Zenoah G20ei to haul 3 to 5 pound RC skydivers all day long. And I have had some not release and have to land, even *deadstick*, with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Granted, an electric power system would involve less power probably, but the airframe seems perfect for a 5lb max payload. So why do you think it's not the best choice?
I have a LiftMeister 105" at over 20lbs w/out payload, and that's way overkill for that payload for sure, but fun nonetheless (can't get them anymore, sadly). But the TM Sr is up at around 10-11lbs empty, which seems the right range for your application at least.
I can see a TM Electro at 72" and 6.5lbs deal with 3-4lbs payload, but it'll fly much faster.
The MudDuck planes are phenomenal lifters, if you want to go more in that direction.
