Help!
Suburban Airplane Storage Rack - NEED HELP WITH IDEAS ?

I currently toss about eight airplanes in the Suburban - small foam electric, with the biggest being a 47" balsa YAK 54, and some smaller Balsa planes. I want to make a storage unit that
1) can be slid out - with legs that drop
2) Can access planes by sliding out a little - pull out a plane and slide back
3) This is about a 4' x 8' space with some wider spaces up near the windows.

I have lots of 2" PVC from when I was planning on making two soccer nets and decided to buy a small one.

Has anyone done something like this ?

Perfection would have ply on the bottom, so when the legs drop down, I have a table. Maybe I can cut a slot on the 2" PVC and slide in 1/2" ply - cut down a few inches.

After I build the electric insert, I then need a fuel insert for much bigger planes. Slide out the Electric, slide in the fuel and away I go to the fuel field.

Thanks for the links. The first three were all basement storage racks. The last had a pretty sweet looking truck rack.

I find it hard to believe that no one has built the type of Truck storage rack I am looking for. I'd like to leverage some knowledge. I intend to use this for my own personal use only.

RC Report had a nice one a few years ago, it was designed for a pickup truck though. It had rollers of some sort. It was designed to slide, but not come all the way out. It had one set of fold up legs that came down and made it into a table as you pulled it out. Thought I had pictures of it somewhere but I guess they're long gone.
