In Hebrews 11:4, the Bible tells us that God considered Abel’s gift "a more excellent sacrifice."
Why? Because Cain’s was by works, and Abel’s was with blood. The end result was the death of Abel by a jealous brother. And this is the society we live in today. Those of us that believe in the blood are mocked, ridiculed, and looked down upon by the world and those professing the Lord Jesus who desire not to have a "bloody religion" but wish to impress God by their own merits and self-righteousness! Stone Mtn. is a cool place. My son made me guess about the little craters all over it and I struck out. (I thought freezing water caused them but they are the result of lightning strikes.) God Bless and have a great Easter! Ira |

Shaggin' like rabbits, chicken vs. egg, reemergence of plants after the winter. It's a fertility, beginning, rebirth thing. From long before Christianity.
