Just went down to merdc to test the new 4 cell set up what a disaster the motor mount bolts came out and the motor ripped the back of the plane . good thing about foam is ITS FIXED.By the way the corsair is US$239.99 and frieght is US$ 56.00 are you sick as well .Max

I was inspired a few weeks ago by Matt, Dave and Bill to try some slope soaring. So I aquired a DIU(x2) and have been hitting the Safety Bay sand dunes after work. I've broken in half the "unbreakable" model twice but that's what CA glue was invented for A few times everything has come together for some great flying.

If anyone is hitting the slopes this weekend, I'd be happy to act as a target for some combat action.

Murdoch is going from bad to worse unfortunately. Still probably ok for small models; just got to find a relatively weed free area!

Sound's like you've been giving the DIU a hammering! Don't think I'll be getting to the slope this weekend but have fun!

Probably heading up To Yokine tomorrow for a sticky beak though.

Hmmm dark blue corsair, just remember dont put it out on the sun too long otherwise it will the fuselage skin will bubble really bad.. no split flaps either, but i like the retracts sequencer with gear door soo u gettin one max??

Had the SU-34 fired up (or electroned up ) this afternoon.

Fan replaced and battery tray modified to now fit some 4000MAh 4S lipos I' had (for another project).

Its amazing how much easier it is to do modification surgery on a model after it's been crashed a couple of times

Anyway was great to finally see it running on 4S (long story ). Just about blew the washing off the line!

Retracts are also still working okay but am just waiting for the replacement nose gear to arrive before I crash it again.

Look forward to seeing some Yokine action tomorrow.

Hi all,
Well what a beautiful start to the day,winds are light sun is shinning what more can a flyer want..
Went out at 0600 picked up my favourite chucker and was in the air by 0630.
Corsair went up 1st ..awesome .....very nice flight of 8mins
Next went the T-33 with the new powerplant.so it was like a maiden I guess
Well 1st impression's was this was slow (oh by the way we're flying on 3s) but it soon gained some speed( I forgot how quickly jet gain momentum...not bad at all.
flew well at just over half throttle.....THEN after @ 8mins ( 2x3s1750mah in parallel ) Disaster struck..well I clipped the top of 1 of those bloody light towers,and down she came the rest is history.

Then it was back to the corsair..ahwell at least it is relaxing....till it decided to fall out of the sky WHAT the Fluck...it was only 5/6mins into the flight
it just listed over to starboard an dove to the ground inverted..no brown out or eletricial problem still unsure,ahwell thats RC flying for ya!
