I should be there, and with dad probably.
I dont know about you guys, but i think we should be at the club house side of the field. the visibility is really difficult from the side where we were before. Its not too hard to get to the other side http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=-...16179&t=h&z=17 Heres a link to google which should give some idea of the area around the park. The other day i came from the north western side of murdoch uni around the new (dark blue roof) student housings. But you should also be able to get there via the southen side of the uni from just further along farrington road. Owen |

Yes, in that direction.. Essentially so the sun is behind you.
Hopefully the posts arent too much in the way. I sooo wish i had my foamy jet still... *angry* - how long does it take stuff from HK to arrive (assuming all stuff in stock) for the air parcel, vs EMS. - is it worth paying $28 vs 20 USD for EMS. Owen |

Cheers Osmium, Ill be there soon, just finish this coffee
![]() Regarding the stuff from HK. If the parcel has been processed and sent, I've got stuff in just under 2 weeks airparcel but always within 3 days EMS. The picking and packaging of all parts can take up to an extra week (thats recently from my mates experience, mine got packed up super quick) |

Good turnout today! Saw alot of variety from slow foam to fast foam! and then the precise balsa models.
Speaking of power supplies... Heres my one which i painted a bit. It gives 12V 15A, and 5V 23A (and -ve 12V 0.5A and -5V 1A or something, but i didnt wire that up) Last edited by osmium_192; May 03, 2009 at 01:24 AM. |

It was a great day though with only minimal damage. Highlight for me was Wayne being able to hover his F16 just after I launched it. Nothing to do with the way I launched it, hey Wayne Most importanatly though; (for once) I went home with everything intact!!! Last edited by Goody63; May 03, 2009 at 04:25 AM. |

Good turnout
![]() Bummer I couldn't fly down there, but went home and flew. Only saw 3 crashes, one that didn't get a chance to get airborne - something about a reversed fan ![]() Going to also look for some old computers next roadside collection - could do with another charger for sure. Whilst I think of it also, I've a 3s1p 1750 mah Rhino with a dead cell. Does anyone want it to make a 2cell out of it ? |
