Over $375 total invested, not including labor
This kit had been reviewed on RCG with info in the following threads:
Particular attention was paid to matching incidences of the wing panels during the build. CF pins were installed in the wing LEs, with corresponding mating holes in the fuse. This helped with wing aligning during the attachement process, as it is difficult with these planes. CF rods were also ran through the LE and along the ply wing stubs, where the wings are attached with epoxy, for added strength of the wing attachment. On this build, the anhedral is seen across the wing top surfaces, as the wings taper thinner toward the tips, with the bottom surfaces nearly aligned flat.
The jet was originally designed for the larger Kyosho fan with NiCd cells. With modern lighter lipos, I made the decision to use the 6904, where the intake is larger than the fan I.D., with the exhaust resized accordingly. Cheater could be added, but it's likely that the intake will be ample for reasonable performance. The jet has also been modified to fit a 3s-2170 EVO, similar to the mod shown in the last of the above links, with proper CG placement set.

Cool, a local! Not many flyers in our area. I used to fly at Bams, but it's just too far. The Mars field is really not much further than it, but still a distance. All the fields are too far for practicality, and my non-parkflying planes are collecting dust. I've been flying at the huge local Grove City municipal park that is basically a large x-farm. Lots of great flying area, and so far no problems.
Actually where I fly is part of why I've thought of selling this plane. I'll probably get rid of a number of my less park-like planes as time goes on. The problem with a jet like this at a public park is that you could kill someone if you hit them. I'll always fly jets, but limited to foam and micros.
If you're looking for planes locally, I may have more reasonably priced ones that you may be interested in. Local pickup I'd sell an unflown (46" I believe) House of Balsa P51 fully equipped with HS55/81 servos, and Maxx 4011 geared cobalt. Pretty much the same case, as it's too large for safe parkflying. I have more.
