Man there was great lift this weekend this weekend. I specked out the Radain more than once. If I was doing another 10 minute task comp I could have made super long flights.

Can I post picture of the glider I just bought?

Sure, since we know you'll be using it in the program. Besides sharing new glider pics is mandatory.

DECALS: The decals are made from automotive grade vinyl. I had them made by a local auto grafix company. They will hold up quite well in the sun since they were designed for that. They're $1 each. S&H is $1 for up to 3. Basically cost. I'm not doing this for profit. My wallet will attest to that.

mmmmmm, depends on the day and the experience. It plays a role how to choose your plane and slope in the right day, thougt I made a 27min with my DLG on the slope one day with no wind so is a bit of strategy I think

Regards

Well I took my new Astra out like 2 weeks ago with ben and Nate. At the time I had read there was a wing spot in the wing saddle. Well on the first flight when I landed it the saddle broke.. So we reinforced with Carbon and Nate did some other things.. Well tonight I took it out for the second flight. It went well ran the motor for about 15 seconds. Then I did the normal trimming.. Brought he back down used the flaps and landed close to my feet. Ran her up a Second time and and this time I did a longer motor run got her up high and I started to play with butterfly to make sure it works or what needed to be trimmed… tried the camber mix.. way to much plane wanted to nose way up.. brought her down and played with camber mix.. turned my Aurora to the cockpit view… I have a live alt reading so I wanted to try it out. Well I launched her and at 30 seconds she was close to 850 feet. I shut the motor off.. made a right turn with ailerons. Then the plan started to lift up… I was in a thermal.. well about the time I was excited was about the same time the wing came off the plane.. the plane came down to the ground hard.. smashing and making one HELL of a noise.. the wing that came off floated all the way to the ground and landed flat with no visible damage.. Not sure what to think or do.. Do I contact the company ? Or is it I bought it I flew it tough luck ? I understand if I crashed and its my fault.. but for the wing to come off in mid flight.. just gliding not under power ?

On a side note i have the level One all complete just need to mail it in.. All things that needed to get done on the list i used the Original Radian.. Im very excited..
So im looking at art Hobby plane.. the Sky 2m V tail.
