Liquor Bottle Labels

OK, I'm stumped. Let me explain.
A while ago I built a fantasy German WWII warplane. I wanted something different on it. At the time Jeagermeister (sp?) was the big thing and the lable on the bottle was really cool. So, I soaked two 1/2 pint bottles (empty of course) in hot water. The labels came off, I let them dry and cut out the artwork. The finished label was just the right size and since it means "Master of the Hunt" in German it was perfect!

Now, if anyone is familiar with Dr. Magillicuddy's Fireball Whiskey, you will be familiar with the flaming red devil on the label. I have tried everything to get it off. Hot water (soaking for days), Windex and even some concoction that the wife has that removes sticky stuff. Nothing! it is a label, not painted on.
I haven't a clue what to try next. Any ideas???

Won't work. Have to get the entire label off the bottle first.

Really? The bottle looks smooth enough. You can't carefully use a razor blade held at a low angle back and forth to slowly remove the label? Like you would a sticker from a car windshield.

Looks to me like that label is lithographed on to the bottle surface.
If so, you will not remove it in any usable form. (Like trying to remove the label from a beer can). If the bottle is plastic, (which I doubt, since tradition would demand glass, for whiskey), you could cut it out, and flatten it on the platen of a scanner, then print your scan. If the bottle is glass, you're in a world of hurt! Good luck, anyway!
Oh, one more thing, you might try asking the company for a repro of their label, explaining why you want it. Probably won't work, but you never know!

Try taking the bottle, throwing it in a plastic bag and pour in some alcohol.. Let it sit for a few days and see if it will come off..

I've removed some stuff from bottles and other items this way..

1. Secure the label with clear plastic tape.
2. Shatter the bottle.
3. Remove the glass shards from the backside/

I can remember when all you had to say to a company was that you were developing a product, needed a sample, etc, and they would bend over backwards and send you all kinds of stuff. They didnt care who you were or werent, if there was a chance their product would be promoted for the cost of printing and a stamp, they'd jump at that chance.

Now all they want is your info for their database and some hook to keep you in their "revenue stream". Freakin spreadsheet numbnuts dont know nuttin.

Open the bottle carefully.

Drink entire contents.

You won't care anymore about the label.
