VTOL 4X EDF (4 min 3 sec)

Hello, can the inventor of the edf in this video share his set up. I think he has achieved a break thru. Feedback would be much appreciated.

The stability demostrated is second to none, considering it was flown outdoors. No oscillation whatsoever was observed.

Feed back would be appreciated.

Way cool! sure looks like fixed EDF's with thrust vectoring paddles. I count 4 batts. 3s or 4s.

Regarding EDF-VTOLs:

The Tricopter uses the Wemotec Mini fan 480 each with a Typhoon 2w-20 motor providing the power. Two 3300mAh lipo’s in parallel.
Unfortunately, tests were to prove that the power requirements left us with about 5 minutes total duration time even before a payload was fitted.

This is a good example how inefficient EDFs are for static thrust applications.
Anyways, it looks cool!

thank you. thru reading thru the thread I think I have found my mistakes. basically I have everything but wrong settings and wrong gyro mode. will try again.
