Ventage Quaker Time - Page 2

April 10th.. The Quaker is waiting on Covering Material. The Plug and Penguin have been Busy.. Sanding , Adjustments , More Sanding, More Adjustments. We made a Servo Door in bottom of Fuse today, Installed Strut Block in wings, More Sanding.. Today. We will add Gas Tank, Make up Push Rods and install Servos before we cover. Covering should be here somtime next week...

James has really been working hard on his BIG QUAKER.. We are hoping to Test Fly very soon. This will be a Sweet Plane to fly.. Its really a Big Bird...

Hope to have some more Photos Soon.. Before we cover.. That Gal looks good all Framed up and With no Covering...

TAX DAY DELAY !! Plug has picked up many needed supplies.. We hope to get back on it tonight.. Just a few Items to do before covering. He has Farmed out the COVERING JOB to "THE GOOSE"

Goose talked him into putting a Saito 72 in the Quaker.. I can see it now..

My Quaker has been put on hold because I have been sick.Hope to get back to it soon.June 1st is fast approaching got to get it ready.My plane my maiden voage, I can crash or soar as well as the best of them.Yea Buddy !!!the quaker is a big bird ,going to name her "Old Tink". Come see her fly opening day at the Aerodrome.

Putting Final Touches on the Quaker. Going to get covered this week or next. Should be Ready to FLY soon. Will try to put up some more Photos too. She is looking good.

WOW !! Plug took Quaker Parts home and I joined up with him Tonight.. He already had the Tail section and Wings covered. We ate up some Mean Chow that his wife cooked up and then on to that big Fuse... We got it finished round 11PM tonight.. Its back in the Hanger at My House for Final Assembly.. Then we will find a Field to do the Testicals at.. We know are Really Nice Field that NO ONE FLIES at.. So we will Testical it and dial it in...

Its A HONEY.. Plugs Wife is a GREAT COOK.. Thanks for CHOW !!

She took some Photos and will up on RC SITE SOON...

QUAKERS almost Done.. ON TO NEXT PROJECT !!!

Final Assembly starts Tomorrow nite after celebrating Mothers Day and all.. Monday nite we will start putting her all together. TAIL, VERTICAL FIN, RUDDER, ELEVATOR, Push rods, Servos, Receiver, Battery, Windshield etc.. OH! I fogot install the Motor too ! Then we will be Flying this coming weekend.. Its already a Proven Flyer all we have to do is just trim the Gal out...

I here its Called Ole Tink...

We are Finshing up the Touches. Installed Stab last nite. James is working on Struts.. Will Install Vertical Tail tonight.. All that is left is Put Horns on and hook em up.. Run Throttle Cable and Adjust Struts up... We are getting Close....

Motor has been Pulled Down by FAA and its all Aproved from them. Dont Worry we will FInd a Test Stand to put the Plane in and Give it a Run Up before it goes airborn. If all goes will it will be Airborn by Early Next week.. Then for the Grand Opening at CAM for its Grand Shabang... All Eyes will be on The Tinkerbells Maden Voyage... GO TINKERBELL !!!
