32" Offshore Cat "Apparition".

A lot of you guys have probably read about these boats on other threads.
Just thought I'd post a video of mine for those that haven't. Motor is an 8XL on 4s Lipo with an Octura X640 prop. Thanks to Trevor for the video.

R/C Offshore Racing Cat (0 min 56 sec)

Cheers.

Thanks Boo.
Last time I measured it with that prop it was running at 83 klicks. That video should be pretty close to that.
All up, ready to run, it weighs in at 2.1 Kg.
Cheers.

Very nice Paul!

If you go any faster/bigger, you'll need a bigger pond....

Not wrong there Jan.
But I think that's about the limit on that one.
I did run it at a bigger pond first yesterday morning & was able to go full noise for about 150 meters in the straights, but dodging the floating islands of weed was a bit hairy to say the least. But it did look impressive.
Cheers.

Thanks guys.
Hi Fleety.
How are you? Haven't seen much of you lately. All's fine I trust.

Nick.
I'll be sure to bring it with me next time I'm down your way & tear a wake across the Lagoon.
Cheers.

I've been looking at this boat from Hobby King for a while now, anything new to report about it's handling, speed, etc?
