SPEF 4th Annual Indoor Fly-In April 24-26 2009 Pics Added

Hey, Everyone!

I want to announce SPEF 4th Annual Electric Indoor Fun Fly!

The date for this event is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 24-26, 2009! The location, once again, is at the Ollie Liner Center in Plainview, Texas, 2000 S Columbia St (47 miles north of Lubbock on I-27). This facility is 302' long, 136" Wide, 15' at roof base, and 25' at the peak. So it's BIG!

Flying will be from 8:00am to 10:00pm all three days. AMA membership required, along with a $10 per day landing fee for non-SPEF members which is used to pay for the rent and sanctioning fees. RV hook-ups are on site and will be available for the event.

20oz. weight limit and max 3 cell LiPo (or equal NiCad/NiMh) power pack. Aircraft that exceed this limit must be approved by the CD (Reegan May). Docile aircraft are likely to be approved.

Mike,

Gary is like the energizer bunny. He never runs down. SPEF has made him the honorary gate keeper during our fly-ins. After all he is the last one to leave the OLC at night.

I'll be there barring any unforeseen changes in my status... I'm through with surgery and sitting in my hotel room in Dallas waiting for clearance to get back home on Monday. Everything went well, but will get the final news next week.

Hope you all enjoyed the San Angelo meet. Wish I could have been there. See you all next month!

Fellows, that makes four of us who couldn't make TINY this year.

Reegan and I had to miss it to. I'm sure they were sad we weren't there, but I bet they had fun anyway.

Looks like I aim not the only one that couldn't make TINY. I had agood time at the Alamogordo. NM FUN FLY yesterday and looking forward to seeing everyone at Plainvew.

Got one of those girly weekends

she likes to fly her walmart toy. and getting better with her vapor,

did you see that neat small indoor plane crash with Ernest's big plane at the
TINY, flying doesn't get any better then that.

I saw it!

I though my motor came off my plane, but it was just another plane stuck to it

I'm glad her Vapor didn't suffer any damage that kept it from flying again, at least it faired much better than mine did when I knocked it down from the ceiling with one of my own planes

But, sad to hear about Teresa's girly weekend.

Haven't seen Teresa fly her Vapor since the Horseshoe event in Midland. We're gonna miss the Bee too!

The ladies need air space too you know. LOL!
