Did Hyperion ever make a wing bag set for the big Samson? I need some wing bags for it and about all I found that would fit are a pair of wing tote single wing bags and they are $120 which I would rather not spend unless I dont have any other options that will suit. Anyone have any ideas?

Steve, tell me that for some warped reason you kept the wing bags when you sold your Samson and that you wouldnt mind selling them to me now that time has passed......Seriously though, I didnt think of the seamstress route, my girl can sew very well, but it might be less trouble to send WingTote $120.........

Yeah...but didn't cost $120.00 to make them...A little cloth and some "sew in" Velcro, and a couple of feet of nylon webbing..

Try these : http://www.hobby-pak.com/indexmain.htm
Less money and every bit as good.
I have 4 of these and they offer good protection and they hold up-

Yep - they are padded, durable outer fabric.
You'll have to measure your wings and pick out the best size.

Or- Why not get the one indicated for bi-planes - It may be a bit large but would still work if you moved someday to larger Bipe.

I'll have to take a closer look. I thought the non-biplane wing bags said double bags. Not sure what the diff is between that and the biplane specific bags.

Nice find on the wing bags! I must ask though, the 56in bags are just a hair shy of the Samsons span, you sure the wings will fit? The bipe bags have all the extra pouches for the interplane struts and so on, but are way to big at 74in....

Probably be best to contact the Dealer/Seller and see what they say about the fit.
I have 4 of their bags but not the particular ones you mention.

I'm going over the manual before assembling. In Step 13, Wing Struts, the manual shown 3M bolts are used to hold the wing struts onto the aluminium tabs. However, the manual does not indicate whether the aluminium tabs are to be CA'd or epoxy onto the wings. Are these aluminium tabs "free flowing in the wings? Thanks.
