I just ordered a 11" 3 blade prop for my scratch built F4U Corsair
which should set it off!

I was wanting to make a request for larger sized variable pitch props maybe sizes 12" to 15" for my larger sized foamies
I am going to build 1/8 scale foamy Corsair and a 11" prop would be too small I would need something like a 14" or 15" prop

Any chance of seeing larger sizes of these? i.e. 13 thru 16 inch. My Hanger 9 corsiar .60 size would love one of these

Not that I've seen. They only offer parkflyer electric props at the moment.

Flyboone, when is HL supposed to get more of the 4 blade 11x10 props in stock? I've been waiting a few weeks and they are still unavailable. I've signed up to be notified when they're in stock again but I wonder how much longer it will be. I am planning to use this prop on a P47 kit I'm building.

Not sure when the next order is due. We do have the blades available though, just need to order two sets. http://www.hobby-lobby.com/spare_2_b...32897_prd1.htm

Thanks Flyboone. I thought about doing that and buying the hub all separate but it would cost more that way. I may do that though if it doesn't come in stock soon because I'll want to test it when my motors come in.

You can use them in a pusher setup by take the prop off and putting it on backwards while still spinning the motor clockwise. There is no way to make a counter-rotating set though.

Jason, have these props been tested for a safe maximum rpm? I have a 1000kv motor and 3S battery that I would like to use with the 11x10 4-blade prop and want to be sure that's not too much. I can limit the throttle if I have to.

Also I hope you get some more in stock soon! They said due December last year then due end of January and they still are out. I got the hub and blades separate already but it doesn't come with the stuff to adjust the pitch. I am guessing that only comes in the set..

Hey,
We haven't tested them for Max RPM. We just recommend them for use in applications for 480 size motors and smaller. That Kv seems fine, what size motor is it? and what size airplane?

I am planning to use this Turnigy motor and the plane is an approximately 1/12 scale P47 with a 35" wingspan. I may reduce the max throttle if it pulls too many watts.

That will likely be just fine. If you want a better quality motor with great service and support, check out our eRC motor line here http://www.hobby-lobby.com/erc_motors_279_ctg.htm

I hope more of these props come in stock soon! It seems like every month they are "due late" that month or the next month. Maybe some will finally come this month because I'm having to use other props while waiting for it to come back in.
