Do not fret. I am very stubborn. I will Jerry rig what I can. I will fly for my B-day. hehe. Have faith and hope, right? Take care everybody. Rest well. Good night to you all. Dream of flying the best you ever have. What wonderfull adventures await us all. hehe. Lee

it could be your mods. I am not saying that there is something wrong with it. It is just if there is some modifications, flight charactersitics changes and pilot need some time to 'adjust' on these changes otherwise it may result to a crash.

Tom, nice heli! Don't know about that cut blot for the "bullet mod" though. I would think the inside surface being a threaded bolt would hinder it a bit. Did you grind out the threads? Inner shaft also works as well as airframe rod. Now you have to lose that stock flybar. Go with an adjustable steel or CF flybar. I have the CF flybar from heliteck-rc. Myself, I favor the CF one.
Mike.

Tom:

I see you are using the aluminum blade grips, any problems with those? I did the CNC upgrade but stuck with the stock blade holders as I heard so many negative comments about these.

Any oher members using the CNC blade grips? How are they working out?

It depends on the bladeholders you buy. The ESky upgrade ones work quite well, but they cost about $30. Those shown look like ESky.

Hey mconstable, Lol. No not hints. hehe. Just venting outloud. I am fixing my copters tonight. Po man style. lol. I have a spare motor for the one. Found something that should work for a flybar paddle rod on the other. And repairing gears on the third. Had a tough day again, but not as bad as yesterday. And we had a full crew, that helps alot. I should have a easier day tomorrow. And finnally get some pay. Maybe Tina will give me permission to buy a part or two. Fingers crossed. Not that I really need anything. Just wanted to try out some ideas. Hope all of you are well. Stay cool. Happy Flying. Lee

Well, I have wonderfull news for you all. I just bench tested. All three are back up. Had to be a little creative with the repairs. But where there's a will. You know. Anyway, Hanvn't flight tested yet. Maybe in a little while. Maybe tomorrow. Really want to get them ready for video making this weekend. hehe. It is kinda rewarding to fix one of these (or three) and not spend any money doing it. Hope (know) they all fly. Lee

Don't feel bad...I've got 4 heli's that have all been down for one thing or another for almost a month!
Now that work's picked up, I'm just gonna start with the cheapest first, and work my way up.
I just need a battery for my MCX, so I can handle that this week, it's my favorite, too, mostly because it's so forgiving, and I'm a crappy pilot! lol
