2009 PSS Festival Thread

OK guys, it's that time again. The 2009 PSS Fest sign up is officially OPEN!

Date: May 21st thru May 24th. (Official contest days are Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th).

Thursday May 21st will be an unofficial fun fly day at Pt Fermin.
Friday May 22nd will be an open flying pre-fest warm up day at Cajon.

Scale Judging, Awards, The Raffle and an after event party will be scheduled for Saturday May 23rd. PSS flying only from noon until 6pm.

Sunday will be open PSS flying from noon till 4pm

This year's entry fees are $25. That gets you in and gets you a nice PSS Fest embroidered cap.

I would like to try and do everything via Paypal this year. Paypal your $25 entry to carlpmaas@sbcglobal.net.
Please include:
Your name
Your address
and your AMA number.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO FOOD SERVICE THIS YEAR

The Forest service is giving us a hard time about serving food so you have to bring your own. Sorry, for the inconvenience but we have a new ranger and she's a peach...

Some aero-porrrn Brian, sweet slide show mate. Wish I had the cash laying around for an airfare. It's on the to-do list but.

Looks like you'll have 3 dead keen Victorians crashing at your place sometime Brian.

We'll have to make it a group trip - Steve will need someone to help him walk after drinking half of America's alcohol.

Carl,

There is a couple of places to stay up there that you haven't listed on the ISR site.

1). Red Roof Inn ... (Ask for a "Billboard Rooms", these are cheaper as they face the freeway. They used to be 49.00 a night as of last year.)
2). Days Inn ... (next to the Gentleman's Club .... AKA ... The Giggly Room)
3). Econo Lodge

Just stay away from the Thrifty Motel and the Maple Motel .... BAD NEWS ... Crack Heads, ... Literally !!!!

Out of curiosity, how much do the raffle tickets cost? I'm trying to figure out how money money I should set aside. I know, I should "bring all of it".
