Retired , no not drilled out for 1/8 but there is plenty of room to drill out to even larger than 1/8 the supplied wire is plenty strong for a 4 1/2 lbs jet

Where did you get the hinges? I'd like to do doors. Post as many pictures as you'd like.

Nice gear doors. You know what I would like for this jet it wheel wells for them..? Anyone know how to fab these? It would be good because I noticed once you open up the well the covering doesnt stick anymore. Alittle glue stick fixed that , but covering up the inside of the well would be nice.

Hey LAV,

You have any pics of the scale retracts installed? I placed my order with Larry for the whole dang EXPENSIVE....did I mention expensive retract kit. But looking at the quality of work....time is money. I will bet money they are going to be worth it.

Looks good. Are you going to use a secquencer for them or spring loaded? I like how that looks. And what are you doing for the mains?

Looks good!

Is there a how-to thread out there for gear doors? I would like to use them on a scratch build but have never seen how they work. If they use a separate servo for each, etc.

Eddie,

I noticed you said you were going to use mylar for tube. Is there an advantage with this over what they supply with kit?

Thanks

I just received my Sapac retracts today, to be used in my Navy scheme L-39.

I thought I'd share a few hi-res photos with you'all. They look to be very nice ... and a very complete package too.

Mike posted a few posts back that they are in stock now!

Never done a gear door, would like to. Watching the video, I can't figure out exactly how it is rigged?
