What kind of batteries are these?


Something about Silver Polymer? I don't know much about battery technologies.

They don't appear to be anything special. Take a look at the 3000mah battery. It is 1.3 volts and can output at an amazing 2C maximum. It weighs 40 grams. Compare to the Kokam/E-Tech equivelant. apx. 1100mah @3.6 volts = 20 grams. Compare 3 Silver polymer's at 4.2 volts , 3000mah at 120 grams, to 3 Li-Poly's at 3.6 volts, 3300mah at 60 grams. Doesn't look like we'll be switching to these any time soon.

weight energy density of these cell is only 50-60% of lipoly and discharge rate is 2C.cell voltage is around 1.4 volt.This battery shall be good for other application but RC.
