Hi-Tec 500 Gyro tail end points
I have partly set this up but have set too little tail blade end point travel.
I cannot find out how to re-set the gyro for this.
Could someone please advise.
Also in normal mode (set to -25% Spectrum 7) REAL floaty back end.
Fairly ok in HH - though feels quite different to my Gy401's
AND typically what horn length to use mine is 12mm.

You should be able to just reset it. Put the rudder travels back up to max, and just reset it. Theres a really good video on Helifreak on the setup. It's on Finless Bob's heli freak Techroom. Check it out, it helped me noend when setting up my Logictech 2100t, as it's pretty much the same gyro.

My Hitec5000 requires really high gain settings.
Set it up mechanically so it holds in rate mode first. Then set your left and right end points for max travel without binding. Setup like this my 5000/5083 holds dead perfect in both rate & HH with no adjustment to either!
Don't forget to turn the rudder travel volume in your TX all the way up to 150 (whatever a DX7 has) both directions.
My ball is setup at 10.5mm on the servo arm.
Have you watched Bob Whites setup video for the 5000?
