RC Groups is a great source for info...as we all know.....but no one is sending anyone anywhere....the RCcars website allows enthusiasts to focus more directly on the "Cars" and gives everyone an opportunity to be more intimate with the forum with respect to their individual genre of four wheeled fun....nothing is taken away from here...it only builds on its user base...i routinely visit both sites.

I think it is awesome to co- promote. It is good for the hobby. To have more that one source for cars is great! The fact that you can find out stuff from more than one place really helps. Not everybody is on ALL the forum sites.Having one central forum for cars is a good idea.Besides, most of us check here regulary.

Another great reason for rccars.com is we now have a place to showcase RC car coverage The ROAR race coverage I did for RCgroups the other year was great but quickly got pushed to the bottm of the events section due to all the airplane events. I will be covering some events in the North East such as some RC Crawling events, Some oval racing, ROAR off road and Hobbyrama. All to be seen on rccars.com

I just stumbled across the site today. Did the registration a few hours ago and still haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail so I can't do anything but read. No posting allowed yet. It's no big deal but most sites automatically send the e-mail immediately. Just wondering if something glitched or if you just have to wait for a human to process the registration.

well glad to hear people are joining the site from over here, it seems that no one's willing to except the site dedicated to rc cars. you'll get more car orientated responses hopefully! i mean the last time i visited there was a thread about world of warcraft, i mean come on, a video game in the cars section when there's an off topic section.
