I've seen a short A0 pin before.

It looks like we may have it. So now you need to connect pin B3 and A1 to P3 and see if it starts up.
Use a 500 ohm resistor to connect pin B3 to P3 and then use a second 500 ohm resistor to connect pin A1 to P3 to be safe.
The resistors don't have to be exact. A 750 ohm should also work.
Hope we got it.

well it seems our need for good cheap supplies is running the price of the jd200 up
serversupply.com has raised their price to 75.00 almost 4x as much as it was

now we need to find a good cheap replacement for this supply

its not going to be easy this supply is very easy to mod and puts out good clean power

Ebay still has some for like $45.
At one time serversupply.com was selling the KD175 for $12 with free shipping. It sells for around $80 now.

I was buying jd200's for 20.00 each with free shipping and I always bought 3-6 units at a time

Pins A1 to D1 are ground. B3 wouldn't be Ps Kill because the voltage is to low. C4 looks to be the PS Kill pin because it is held high to 5v. Did you also do an impedance test for the pin matrix?(resistance values for each pin in matrix to ground)

Try connecting each of the 5v and greater pins to ground through a 500 ohm resistor to see which ones are not 5vsb. The pins that are not 5vsb will drop their voltage when you connect them to ground through the resistor.

Or just try connecting pins A2, A3, B3, B4 and C4 to ground with each through a 500 ohm(or about) resistor.

Anybody been able to convert this yet. There pretty small and light. Was given one of these from a old server and I can get another one. Puts out some really good power from what it looks like.

No 12V out of the DPS660, I am tired and just about ready to hit the thing with a sledge hammer.

Connect PS On and PS Kill to ground to power up.
Cool thanks. I should be able to run these in series right so long as I drop a ground. I'm currently running some dl580s the 1200 watt and there starting to act up was using a non inverter genny to run them which is bad. So is there a issue running these in series the coldwatt ones

There should be no problem running them in series once you decouple the DC ground from the case.
