no free 6100's in australia.

they were even reluctant to check it out as "it affects very few radio's"

BTW, the title of your post says "DX6 receiver". The DX6 receiver is AR6000. AR6200 comes with DX6i. Keep in mind that DX6 and AR6200 will not work together. DX6i and AR6200 will.

hi guys my dx6i is one off the ones with dreaded recall codes. i have known nothin about the recalls til now. and have had no issues with mine at all until now.

my elevator has stopped working completely .

i already opened up my dx6i to replace a idle up switch and to remove the ratchet on throttle so do you think horizon will still stand by the radio?

i also noticed that the elevator potentiometre pot is very badly put in and has what looks like solder melt marks around. it was not done it me i might add

the manual actually mentions opening up the Tx to adjust tension on the sticks.

i prefer a slightly stiffer throttle stick to prevent it being bumped when im using the ailerons, and in Aus they honored my warranty, no probs

...they gave me one of those "precious 6100's " as a consolation prize ..it sat around my shop for a couple of months before I installed it into something..a scratchbuilt sonicliner/xb70 clone...dang thing wont bind ,no lites,.. nothing. Power is apparently getting thru from the esc...it'l make 3 beeps when battery hooked up then nothing. Its like the rx isnt there at all.Hooked up a known good Rx to check the system ...all good .Put the rx in another "good" system/plane and and experienced same prob...thanks for nothing Spektrum.

I assume they fixed the radio from whatever prob it might have had ,but I don't know for sure. The radio they sent back to me wasn't the one I sent them. Not new...someone elses' apparently...the models programmed into the memory buffer weren't mine.. ...they did send it to my office rather than home as I requested though...so they at least got something right...
