Chmmm I have taped it, doesn't look sturdy enough...
What do others use?

I taped mine and it help up fine till I crashed .

I glued it after that and it is just as solid.

I used scotch tape on the outside to hold the halves together temporarily, while applying thin CA into the seam from the inside, one drop at a time. Then remove the scotch tape.

I use those thin "servo tape" used by Rc cars to hold the windshield since CA will leave residue on the clear.

I used some clear 3m packing tape on mine (the real sticky mailing tape). It has held together beautifully. No CA required. But it weighs slightly more.

I used 3-M Highland clear tape for the canopy built for my review, and it's still going strong after hundreds of flights! There's a hint or two for canopy assembly in the reiview....

I used white acid-free wingtrim tape on the outside and a few pieces on the inside and it has held up to 3 crashes without a single issue!

Even better, I understand that the new U.S. kit comes with a pre-assembled canopy

Thats a negative on preasembled canopy in US kit.

Did it really help in a crash?
Tape if aplied in full perimeter can hold almost as strong as CA.
Then maybe its better to use ca from the begining.
I used CA on Corona canopy, BTW i flew with it just 1 time.
It resulted in overheating of my phoenix 35 and nasty crash.
Flew without it after rebuilding....
My logo kit came without decal sheet, and since canoppy - making is one thing i do not like in this hobby+it looks bad without decals- i thought i'll just fly without it . BUT i was lucky to find innovative thread "urgently need to borrow" in logomaniac forums:
