Does anyone happen to know what the range of rpm's on the .049 or the .061 are? Is there a reason that I don't see many modelers using these engines in their planes(the rc versions)?

I don't believe the Mk 1 is available any more. The Mk 2 doesn't come with a muffler or throttle.

have anyone seen the hl mini telemaster arf,you can also get it with ailerons. what motor would be best? the 10 or 15

The Mini TM ARF comes without ailerons, HL has an offer with the two wing sets, plus R/C, charger, motor and batteries look here http://www.hobby-lobby.com/mini-tele...18650_prd1.htm or buy the Mini TM 3 channels with the additional ailerons wing (you can find it in spare parts for US$ 32.90)

I think a .10 or .15 overkill the Mini TM, the plane comes for use with a SP400 geared or brushless, I have a Mini TM from a kit converted to 4 channels and the AUW is 18oz. I'm using a Team Orion Wind MS brushless motor with lipos 3s 2200 ...... I think a .074 could be a good choice for that plane if you want to go GLOW or DIESEL.
