Nice, to have a second source. The Ace cores are still available. Select Hobbies can get them. But it may take some time if he doesn't have stock, they come from Taiwan.

And that is good, sorry if I came off poorly. Fixed, I hope.

Thanks a lot, Jason. That's information that doesn't show up everyday.

Since they changed their site, does anyone know of a complete list of the plans they have? They used to have a very comprehensive database of their plans until they changed servers or redid their website. Now I have to contact them to find out what plans they have for older issues or to find out if a particular plane ever appeared. I hope someone knows of a complete list.

Thank you.

Sam's Stuff

Nice site - and the business is for sale.

I am thinking of converting one of these to RC like the do with the foam profile planes.

Re: Ace cores - I was digging around in my garage and found a stash of 2 straight and one tapered cores NIB. $2.95 price tag on them, still sealed with tape like I got them some 20 years ago ( and no, they aren't for sale. I've got some nostalgia projects ).

I can't believe I am excited about the thought of castor oil and glow plugs again. I may even do some control line again - there is a local club with a nice CL only field. I am on the hunt for some nitro motors and planes from my youth. Like a ringmaster ant K&B Torpedo 35, a Super Tigre G21 .35 in a Voodo combat wing with a baby pacifier tank and 8 x 8 or 9 x 7 prop. Veco 19/RC in a Goldberg Falcon 56 ( ok - thats RC, but it was the first RC I had with servos - Orbit 4 ch tube radio - rudder & throttle), Mini-Mambo and a Golden Bee. The thrill of WOT flying.
