Dave Fritzke has recently updated his free plan page. There are several new ones added this time. The Ace R/C "Shrike Commander Twin" engine for two 049 engines. This has been tiled for easy printing! The Ace "Dick's Dream" and the "Mod Pod" formerly kitted by Dumas and originally featured in American Aircraft Modeler in the '70s.

Hi Tanner:

I built the Herr Cloud Ranger a few years back and loved it. I originally built it as EP but then changed it to a Norvel .074 which really made a nice combination.

I also built the Herr Piper J3 (the 48"version) and added ailerons. That was flown with a Norvell .061, good flyer but the .074 would have been better.

I now have another 48" Herr J3 which I will be starting in the next couple of weeks. I will add ailerons to it also. I have a Thunder Tiger .07 for it.

The Herr kits are excellent quality and the laser cutting cannot be surpassed.

Attached is a pic of my Cloud Ranger just before power conversion.

Give us some pics of your CR as you build.

Attached is the scan of the 1990 Cox Parts and Retail price list. Good for knowing which part number are for what plane or engine.
