I wish they would do that with the dt750...

They changed just the cans. Can you look if they have thinner stator laminates?

Using only the drive calc program and 200 watts of input power get the rpm and efficiency of various motors off 55-58 grams.
With GWS 10x6

Sukalo,
I've just compared the old to the new motors and there is no difference between the stator laminates.
Only change is the can.

I got a red can on my last order too. Better get 'em while they're hot Dave.

Kev

PS: I have a very special project brewing up at the moment, and it's getting a rewound 2213n. The only hint I'm giving is... it can be flown when everything else is grounded.

That's a very interesting chart Manuel. I would not have expected some of those motors to hold up as well as they did. The GWS, however, does not surprise me by coming in last!

The hole distance CtoC is 23mm.
Hole diameter is 1.85mm or just over.
Wall thickness to outer edge of mount is 1mm.
Mount diameter is a smidge under 27mm.

Tom.

If your interested here's how I mount my motors on my Quad. Holes in the boom arms are 19mm apart and the washers are 4mm but are kept snugly in place by the bracing effect of the bolt and the back wall of the mount.
I did try drilling the mounting holes out to 3mm but there simply isn't enough material for my satisfaction or the application.

I think that's a pretty good match to 22 awg, for the metric challenged who might be checking in ... looking good!

Nice motor Sukalo. I'm working on a 14T-24awg parallel Y, which should be similar. Not much hobby time lately, so might get to testing tomorrow if I'm lucky.

Not often a stator allows 13T on 2 layers. I actually started the wind planning on 12T--24a-D, but was surprised when I found 13T neatly fit in the first 2-layers. I checked the spreadsheet, then found Manuel's 7T-Y data, and decided to just go with it. I wanted to take full advantage of the roomy stator.

AX2213n 7Tx2-24a-Y

Finally had a few minutes to test before this goes on my latest project:

AX2213n 7Tx2-24a-Y
Flightpower Evolite v2 3s1345
22.5C/29m
Rm = 0.0859ohm

NoLoad
9576RPM/11.25V/0.711A
->Kv = 851RPM/V

APC 10x4.7sf
7351RPM/11.08V/15.23A/34.8oz/80.4%
GWS 1060hd
7276RPM/10.15V/10.07A/23.4oz/86.0%
GWS 9050hd
7792RPM/10.38V/7.65A/20.0oz/79.7%

Oz and % from Badcock. Not bad, not bad at all. I'll be using this with a 10x4.7sf on a 3DHS Spider I'm setting up for night flying. Almost done, and the AUW looks to be around 15oz, depending on battery choice. Could use a much smaller pack, but CG prolly won't allow it.
