Make Your own Booms by Dave Hill

Hi Guys,

I just finished shooting the process I use for making the Arrow Pro boom. Joe Nave manned the camera for me as I went through the steps.

I will be editing the photos and posting them here as I finish the text. This should run for a few days.

I will list all the materials and where to get them as well as the tools I use. Please ask questions so I can help you out. This should put to rest all the wacky ideas you guys have about building booms.

See You Soon,

Dave

Brent Robinson has made a consolidated version of this thread for home shop use with out all the extra chatter in the original thread.
Another member of the group, Scott Zastoupil has reduced the file size so it is able to be down loaded from this thread.
There is a Word Document form available as well if you would like to add your own ideas to the document. You can E-mail me at info@pacificgliderworks.com and I will send it to you.

Thanks for everyones help,

Dave

Finally a tutorial.

I've heard way too many differing methods to even think about experimenting. Thanks.

Dave,

i am just curious if you used the "wax on a rod" method. I am very much looking forward for your tutorial.
