Choose the Right Type Circular Polarization Antenna
Circular Polarization will be released on Foxtech soon .
Before purchase- Basic knowledge of the Circular polarization Antenna
Before purchase, please confirm your antenna type and be aware of the following:
Circular polarization comes in two variations as well, Right hand polarized and Left hand polarized. If these two tries to talk to each other there would be a 30dB loss.
Helical antennas amplify well on receiver ports, but please confirm is your transmitter antenna left hand polarized or right hand polarized. 3 turns gain value of helical antenna is about double Skew-Planar Wheel Antenna effect, the maximum is 12 turns. Please notice that itís directional; with more gain value, the antenna need to aim the target. By the way, Skew-Planar wheel antenna is unidirectional 180 degree.
4.5 + number of turns (3 turn minimum, 12 turn maximum)
3 turns = 7 dbi
4 turns = 8.5dbi
5 turns = 9.5 dbi
6 turns = 10.5 dbi
7 turns = 11.25 dbi
12 turns = 12.5 dbi
How to check and choose correct Antennas ? Here provide some pictures below as reference .
We are going to provide left hand which should match with Left hand polarization . Don't make a mistake !
