Hi 2doggs, quick question.

In your blog you mention a HK RJX head for $12.

On HK's site the RJX 450 head is $37.47, and also b/o.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...450_HK450.html

I did notice a RJX'ish one at $11.95.

What do you think?

Cheers

I just ordered 5 of those 11.95 heads, they are RJX stuff, I have one on my speedy, and broke a head arm, ordered a arm set from HK, and it fits Perfectly, +1 for them, and the price was OK.
I pay 9.95 euros with free shipping when its in stock, so I got 5 on the way. The 2nd one you posted BL.
It uses the F/S from the Pro and ya can fit it at 2 different heights too.

Frank

Thanks 2Doggs

Thanks a bunch for that, Frank. Now I know why I can't get one for my MT.

LOL, I know, when I buy something, I do it in overkill, Goblin canopys are always out, now you know why. Beer makes me do that.

E325 Discontinued ... BUMMER !

http://www.thundertiger.com/news-det...?id=28&lang=en

I found a PV0750 tail pitch slider on Ebay - bought two of them even though I only need one.

Great helis - Very sorry to see interest in them fade away. So sad.

Now all of my helis are officially discontinued/dinosaurs:

Hirobo Quark S.R.B, 2009
E-Flite Blade 400, 2010
Thunder Tiger Mini-Titan, 2011
Century Swift 550, 2012

So I suppose the two planes I have will be next:

Flyzone Sensei, 2013
E-Flite Apprentice, 2014

Seen any reasonably priced main shafts? I'll be building my 325SE soon, and could surely use main shafts, but everybody seems backordered. Tail shafts don't seem to be an issue, though.

Parts do seem harder to come by these days. It's a real shame, since the MT is still a great heli. I'm flying mine again, having left my Forza in the UK. Since getting used to higher HS on the Forza, I'm now running about HS3000 on the trusty MT, and it's flying great. I've thought about making my own mainshafts from ejector pins - you don't need the reduced diameter part at the bottom.

Fully agree John! Bummer for sure...

Managed to get in a few flights on a couple of mine today. My favorite Miniís; presently, my only Miniís that I fly on a regular basis . I have a well stocked bin that should keep mine airborne for a while, barring no multiple series of mishaps.

What a beauty today. Looks like we may be the Hot Spot in Ontario; doesnít happen very often up here in the boonies so itís worth noting . Clear, slight breeze > > > 30C.

Time for a Brew or Two...

Hey Al! A brew or Two sounds great right about now Think I'll take you up on that !

Congrats on your great weather. So far our Summer is off to a cool start - not missing not having the swimming pool this year. Basement project is taking all of our time, and patience (see my blog). Chlorine and skimming bugs will just have to wait till next year.

Hope all is well with you Al, and all of the Mini-Titan pilots here on the forum
