Yeah I usually fly much lower than that, but then with smaller models and foamies that's probably what's needed to get the most out of it. Which is also why we spend a lot of time hunting for our planes on the backside in the bushes...

I've threatened a couple times to go up there with my chainsaw... At least to cut through some gorse. We often take machetes up there, at least just to clear a path to our planes. Lost model alarm is mandatory

Once you guys progress to flying heavy, slick mouldies I dont reckon you'll look back. As Alex said you can fly much higher with a mouldy and they seem to ignore a lot of stuff that knocks a faomy around
