Not yet. I haven't found one yet except maybe he Durafly Hyper Bipe. I may pick that one up next after I sell a couple of my Corsairs. Just no room left.

I enjoy flying my EFlite Rhapsody. Wouldn`t call it my goto plane but it doesn`t collect any dust either. Flies nice with a .25 motor and 2500 4S LiPo.

Too bad EFlite discontinued.

I do , I just seem to control bibes the best . But besides an alby and a se5, I don't have one in the hanger. Im looking for a plane I can easily carry in the car or walk to a close park. Any suggestions? Pulma (maybe to large) ,Beast UMX? Ultimate? I want an everyday bibe, something that I could carry in a box. Maybe 2S size 25 or so wingspan

Bipes are cool! I have a Samson 70 by Hyperion, and it's a very nice plane. It's not my "to go" plane; simply because it's somewhat big to just throw in the car, and it also takes a few minutes to assemble/disassemble. Not much of a problem, except for winter flying when it's not particulary enjoyable to handle a handfull of small 3mm hex screws... A well behaved 40 size Pitts or Ultimate would be a nice "to go" plane.

I also have an UMX Beast, which is good for (very) small fields, and quite impressive for it's size.

Beast fan here too, among other bipes. Byron Cristen Eagles weighs 20 lbs. How's that from one extreme to the other. Zoombi is my favorite for 3D aerobatics. Little tripe is great indoors or out. The white Catsass bipe is a scratchbuild.

I have an old Cox Christen Eagle that I modified with a Sport 450 motor. Between this one and my Albatross and SE5a, I always have a bi-plane going to the field. There is something majestic about the way bi-planes look in the sky.

We have the smaller version. It fits in the car as it is, is very nimble in the air, and doesn't bear a grudge.

Not sure if they're still available though.

Tim,
I'm aware of the 35 sized Samson, but I haven't found it in stock anywhere. Seems like a perfect plane to keep assembeled in the car...

A 25 or 40 sized Beast would be nice.

Then there's the Christen Eagle 40 from Great Planes, but it's expensive (same price as the H9 90 size Eagle here in Norway), and I haven't found much info on it. Seems rather heavy though.

The Ultimate 40 from The World Models might be an alternative, but I don't think it's very well suited for electric conversion, and TWM isn't famous for their wood selection and covering material.

Other option for 40 size (or thereabout) bipes ?
