Motor for AP Magpie
I am looking to update my magpie motor since I have not really flown much since the brushed motor days!
Does anybody have a recommendation for a brushless setup that can haul around 35-40oz (AUW) with ease? I would like to stay under $150 for the motor and esc if possible.
I had been considering the Park 480 1020kv...but have no clue if this would actually be a good setup (seems like it based on their plane weight range listed on their site).
Thanks for any help.

A Dualsky XM 3536-8 (105g, ~990Kv) will run happily at ~250W-300W on 3s with an 11x7 GWS HD or an 11x7 APC E...that would get you 100-120W/lb and about 45oz static thrust @ around 50mph.... that should be more than enough for a 40oz plane.
