If the v-tail has aluminum control horns, then it might be this one. Let me know if this looks like the plane you have.

If this is the plane that I use to have, here is a really old thread that describes more about the plane.

I use to fly this plane a lot. Once you get the CG dialed in, I was getting some good flights with it. It will also take a nice zoom launch. If I remember correctly, I had the CG between 40% and 45% of the root chord from the leading edge. Try 40% first and see if that suits your flying style.

I don't have the plane in my possession but will this weekend. I think the pictures you posted is the very plane! I just got it in a trade with Chico (thunderbirds84).

Once I have the plane in my hands I'll be able to tell for sure.

Have any idea what it's called?

The plane is a custom fuse and tail and the wings are from a Spirit 2 meter. Since it's more of a custom plane, it really doesn't have a name.

It took me a minute or two, but it eventually hit me. Why didn't I think of it! Maybe that could be the new name. We can call it the "Measure Up"!.

When I did the servo tray, I had run out of ply and had a few extra wood rulers laying around from a motorcycle rear wheel alignment tool that I had built 15 years ago and decided to use a spare ruler. The wood was actually harder than I thought and should give years of use without breaking.
